Having a bottomless appetite, my life has been characterized by great “bellyfuls” and months of diet. The diet by its nature should be temporary instead for me it is seamless.
One of the suggested ways to maintain a healthy weight is to change the everyday “diet”: it seems easy! But how? Cooking low-calorie dishes.
Gratinated baked anchovies do not have more than 250 calories per Serving and therefore are a good and nutritious meal.

- Ingredients for 4 servings
- Difficulty: Easy recipe
- Ingredients
- 500 gr or 1 lb clean and de-iced anchovies
- 100 gr or 4 oz breadcrumbs
- 100 gr or 4 oz of datterino tomatoes
- 1 clove of garlic
- Extra virgin olive oil to taste
- 1 piece of chili
- 1 bunch of parsley
- 1 bunch of marjoram
- Salt to taste
- Instructions
- In a greased baking pan with a little oil, align the clean anchovies in a row.
- Sprinkle over the breadcrumbs, the sliced garlic, the parsley, and the marjoram chopped and the halved tomatoes. Season with a little oil. Salt.
- Bake at 425°F for about ten minutes.
Tips to ensure the success of the dish:
- Use homemade breadcrumbs. It takes stale bread without the crust. It is minced in the mixer and, if you want, you can aromatize with all the herbs you want.
- Anchovies should not be cooked for too long or they will dry out becoming crumbly.
