When I meet up with my friends for a drink, I generally prepare something that is delicious but isn’t too filling. This luscious snack is perfect because it is suitable with alcoholic beverages and it is easily eaten with your hands. Finally, the colors with its beautiful greens and reds will give you unspeakable joy.
Pea Humus with Carasau bread

- 125 gr or 4 ½ oz of fresh peas
- 2 tablespoons of tahina (sesame paste)
- 2 tablespoons of lime juice
- Extra virgin olive oil to taste
- Salt to taste
- Paprika to taste
- Carasau bread
- Instructions
- In a saucepan, boil the fresh peas for about ten minutes.
- Drain and place them in the mixer together with all the other ingredients. If the mixture is too thick, add a few tablespoons of pea cooking water.
- Add salt and dust with paprika.
- Place the slices of carasau bread on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Season with olive oil and cook in a hot oven at 400 °F for about ten minutes.
- Serve the humus with the slices of Carasau bread.
