A quick and easy preparation for breakfast or a tasty snack. Granola is a mixture of oats and dried fruit invented by Kellogg’s, the inventor of the Cornflakes, in 1878. It pairs divinely with Greek yogurt and as a snack is unmatched with ice cream.

Granola

  • Ingredients
  • 100 gr or 4 oz of sugar cane
  • 100 gr or 4 oz of nuts
  • 100 gr or 4 oz of almonds
  • 100 gr or 4 oz of hazelnuts
  • 200 gr or 7 oz of oats
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 gr or 4 oz of maple syrup
  1. Instructions
  2. Cut the dried fruit into pieces.
  3. Mix oats with dried fruit, salt, and sugar.
  4. Add the maple syrup.
  5. Put the mixture on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in a hot oven at 300 °F for about twenty minutes or until the mixture has taken on a caramelized color. Allow to cool and chop.

Tips to ensure the success of the dish:

  • The timing of baking is suggested because each oven cooks differently
  • You can add to the granola, once cooked and cooled, or 4 tablespoons of chocolate in drops or 3 tablespoons of raisins.
